Challenge #101 - The Paper Shelter - "Animal Magic"

Good Morning Crafters, oh wow what a fabulous response to our DT Call, and Marie will be announcing the new Team sometime today over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot, and I hope you will also help me welcome them and also send a very sad goodbye to the girls who are now stepping down and they have been very special friends and Im going to miss them terribly and they are Lorraine, Ann Marie, Julie and Paola, Im still hoping to call on them occassionally to step in as Guest Designers so I think you may well see them now and again, but I do want to wish them all the best for the future.
But back to todays Challenge, this week we want to see "Animals" on your card and I do know that many of you have them in your stash so it should cause any problems finds something that will fit the bill. As always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.

To spend on their website and you will receive the whole amount if you have used one of their products on your card, but even if you dont they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice. So do please go and visit their website Here and see for yourself what stunning images, papers and printables that they have to offer you at fabulous prices, as the exchange rate is brilliant.

And now I want to show you what I have created for this weeks Challenge.

I have used this " Most Adorable Cavalier" image and you will find it here, I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie die Labels No.1 to cut it out then used a fancy die for the mount, the sentiment was created on my computer and printed out as I felt is was appropriate saying for this gorgeous image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the paper I used actually comes with the image and I have stuck it to the base card, then wrapped a ribbon around the top, and created the flower at the bottom with several punched out pieces and layered them up to create the large daisy in the bottom left hand corner, this was stuck to the card with a silicone glue and some punched out leaves.
The last flourish is the three gems stuck down the right hand side at the top.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and I do hope that you will then take part in this "Animal Magic" Challenge.

and the second sponsor is Cult Pens

and a wonderful prize of
How about those prizes aren't they brilliant, and Im sure that we shall have a excellent response this week as I know that we all look for the "Anything Goes" Challenges as it means we can enter without any problems so this week is going to be a busy one with the commenting Im sure. I actually bought several images from Alota Stamps and this is what I created for you.

She was a actual SVG image and my dear husband converted it to a jpg to allow me to use it and I printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, afterwards I used a oval Nestabilitie die to cut it out. The mount is one of the new Oval Nestabilitie Die and the sentiment was also from the same die set, and the actual sentiment phrase is from Stamps Away.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, and the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine "Vintage Lace" Digi Paper Set and you will find them here. I have used my first paper for the base mount then used one of the Cheery Lynn Circle Doily dies for the mount behind the image, then on top I have used a Memory Box lattice die cut in pink card for the strip and then is yet a swirl die in green.
I positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment below on the right, I then used some of the left over papers and yet another of the Cheery Lynn Flower dies and created the large daisy in the top left hand corner which has been stuck to the card on top of some punched out holly leaves and some pink swirls.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot, and see what the rest of my Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this weeks "Anything Goes" Challenge.

A Card for the Sugar Bowl "Girlie" Challenge

Good Afternoon Crafters, well its certainly cold outside today and we are being promised some snow maybe, not sure I want that to be honest but hopefully it will pass us by. Anyway todays card has been created for the special "Girlie" Challenge over on the Sugar Bowl, this was the image I chose from my winning last weeks Sugary Sunday Challenge over on Facebook and her name is "Molly" and is one of the Country Cousin Stamps from Funky Kits, shes such a little sweetie and I felt she was just right for this challenge.
Ive stamped her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, then cut her out with my rotatrim and also cut a mount for her out of red card, the sentiment is one from my stash and has been also stamped onto white card and mounted onto another piece of the red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and the papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Digi Downloads this one is called "100% Girl" and Ive used three papers a very pretty flower design on a white background and the second is a stripe one which takes in all the colours from the first paper, and the third is a plain red paper which again is picking up the red in the background.
Ive started to keep my cards less bulky for posting as its costs so much for postage and I felt the background paper was busy enough without adding anything extra hope you agree.

Good Morning Crafters, well I hope youve all enjoyed a restful weekend and at least most of the snow has gone and now lets hope it stays that way, but for this weeks Challenge we do still want to see your winter designs its called "Wintertime" so dont put those stamps away just yet.
For this Challenge we are being sponsored by Freshly Brewed Designs:-

and Heather is offering a $10. Gift Voucher to spend on her website and here is what she says about herself and her company.

Hi. I am Heather Dennis. I am a homeschooling mother of 2 wonderful children, the wife of 12 years to the love of my life, a Christian and the owner of Fresh Brewed Designs. I have loved to draw and create ever since I was a child. My daughter has inherited my love of art and recently inspired me to start creating again.
All the images in my shop are hand drawn. I offer a wide range of images from coffee, cute and inspirational. I also love to create custom drawn images, so if you are looking for anything in particular, please feel free to drop me an email.

And we were lucky enough to be given several images to play with and I decided to use this one.

And this is called "Snowman Hide and Seek" and you will find it here on the Freshly Brewed Designs Website. I have printed them onto white card and then used my copic pens to colour it afterwards I used a square Nestabilitie Die to cut it out and then used the Marvellous Squares for the mount. The sentiment is a Just-Rite circle stamp and the snowflake die mount is a Whimsey one.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and the papers I have used are from the Lili of the Valley "Christmas" paper set, both are with snowflake and tree designs in blue and white.

Challenge #99 - The Paper Shelter "Be My Valentine"

Good Morning Crafters well tomorrow is a special day for lovers so I hope that youve got your card made and ready to give if not you have an opportunity today to create one as we want you to create a Valentines Card for this Challenge. I also hope that you will take part in the Design Team Call that The Paper Shelter are hosting as we are looking for several new members to join our two teams.
As usual our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But as always this is providing you have used one of their products on your card, it could be a image, paper or a printable, and believe me when I say that they are extremely good value as the exchange rate is very favourable. Anyway even if you dont use one on your card you will still be receiving 3 digi images of your own choice if you are picked by random org.
And now for my card I have used this gorgeous Mermaid "Enchanted Ocean"and you will find her here.

I have actually used a pre-printed image for my card and the papers that come with it, you will find them here, and then created a easel card to make my card, its a 6"x 6" white card and the first mounts are blue pearlescent card, then I have used one of the backing papers for the inside and mounted the image onto another piece of blue card and placed this also on a further piece of backing paper for the front of the card.
I have then stamped a sentiment onto a piece of white card and cut it out with a heart die, and then placed some lace around the edges and then stuck it in the inside to use as a stopper for the face of the card. To finish of I have used two seahorse buttons on the front of the card.
Now that you've seen my Card I do hope you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Be My Valentine" Challenge.

And they are offering a prize of

Oh wow what gorgeous prizes, it would be so nice to win any of them so I think its time to show you what I have made for this "Sketch" Challenge, and I was lucky enough to be given a image to play with and here she is, this is "Pint sized Love" and you will find her here.

I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut the image out with a Nestabilitie die and a fancy one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as my Image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers I have used are from Donna's Bearlymine "Small Dots and Plaids" digi papers and you will find them here. I have created the card to the sketch about and then across the middle I have wrapped a piece of pretty lace and attached it at the back of the first mount.
I then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right as the Sketch shows, I did also use a piece of the left over card to cut a corner out with a Memory Box die, the last two things are the flags at the top with flag buttons on top, these were created with one of the Epiphany punches and the last little flourish are the three roses along the right hand side of the image, these were stuck to the card with silicone glue and punched out rose leaves.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Sketch" Challenge.

Challenge #3 - Cards for Men - "All My Love"

Good Morning Crafters I hope you've all had a fabulous weekend, and now that we are creeping very quickly towards "Valentines Day" here on Cards for Men we are starting the ball rolling this fortnight by our "All My Love" theme, we are also lucky to be sponsored by Kenny K and I know how popular his images are so I do hope that you will want to take part in this Challenge.

And they are offering a prize of 5 digi images of winners choice, and here is what they say about themselves.

I'm sure you're all familiar with the wonderful work of Kenny K's Shop but what about the man (and woman) behind those wonderful creations. Take a look here to see their journey, http://www.kennykdownloads.com/about-kenny-and-elena.php

We were lucky enough to have been given several images to play with and I chose this fabulous one "Hug" to play with and you will find it here.

Dont you think this pair are gorgeous and giving so much love to one another, I have printed them onto white card then used my copic pens to colour them. Afterwards I used a large Nestabilitie Heart die to cut them out, then used a Xcut Heart Die for the mount, you carnt actually see it to well but it has lots of cut outs on it and luckily it was big enough to show the mount better. The sentiment is another of my stash stamp and this also was created in the same way as the image.
The card base is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and the papers I used are from the Bo Bunny "Crush" paper pad, and then on top I used a Memory Box Heart border die, and this was placed along the bottom of the card. I then placed my mounted image in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I used a La La Land heart border and I cut it half and placed it in the top two corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot, and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "All My Love" Challenge.
