A Card for Sundays with Santa

Good Evening Crafters, well its been awhile since I used one of my Magnolia stamps but thought as its a Anything Goes Challenge over on Sundays with Santa on Facebook I would give this Tilda image a outing, Ive stamped her onto white card then used a mask to cover her and then stamped the I Love You stamp under her, removed the mask then coloured it with my copic pens. I then used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.17 to cut her out, I then drew around the die to create the mount for her out of blue card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the papers I have used are Lili of the Valleys "Nitwit" papers, the first a snowfall one on a blue background, the second is a white background with pale blue snowflakes on I have used a snowflake border punch from Martha Stewart, then for my last mount I used a sentiment paper and cut a strip and mounted this onto another piece of the blue card.
The mounted image was then placed in the center towards the top and the sentiment below on the right.
To finish of I created two snowflakes and layered them up from several punched out piece glittered the top and put them across the left hand bottom corner.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

And now without any further ado, here is the card I created for this Challenge.

I chose this gorgeous "Don and Daisy" image and stamped onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, then used a oval die to cut her out, I used some blue ink just to distress the edges, and then used a Decorative Oval from Marianne for the mount, and the sentiment is a Britannia die and I used more of the same silver mirri card for this.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of silver card and the papers I used are from Donna's "Pastel Christmas" digi papers set, and you will find them here. The first one Ive used is a blue background with snowflakes on, and then on top I used another pattern and a Decorative Square Marianne die to cut out a large doily which I have placed in the middle of the base card, then wrapped a organza ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and the sentiment across the right hand bottom corner, and to finish of I have used the Nellie Poinsetta Punches to create the flowers in the top left hand corner, I then moulded them into shape and stuck them down with some silicone glue.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit the Bearlymine Designs Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Blue and Silver" Challenge.

Challenge #91 - The Paper Shelter - "Birthdays"

Good Morning Crafters, its only days away now to my own big birthday I know you want me to write up exactly how old I am but I find it embarrassing to actually say it out loud anyway you can see from my profile what it is, its plus one. Anyway today's Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is just right for all of those experiencing birthday like myself its a "Birthdays" theme and I know its one of the most popular themes for making cards so you can start putting your thinking caps on while taking part in it.
As usual our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of  $30.

but as always this is providing you have used one of their products on your card, but even if you have'nt they will still give you three images of your own choice. I wish you would take a visit to their website The Paper Shelter, (click on this) and you can see for yourself what stunning and beautiful images they have for sale, they are always updating their catalogue and they also have some lovely papers that go with their images and printables, plus which they really are so reasonably priced as the exchange rate is brilliant and gives you real value for money.
Now I want to show you the card I created for this Challenge.

I used this gorgeous yummy "Birthday Cupcake" image you will find it here, and I coloured it with my copic pens then cut it out completely, and the sentiment is one of the new Britannia dies and this was cut out of pink pearlescent card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, I then used the "Birthday Cupcake" papers from The Paper Shelter you will find them here,  the first paper is a pink background with lots of cupcakes on, and on top of this I have used a blue background with swirls on and a pink with spots on and then used my Cheery Lynn Pastry Dies to create two doilys which were then placed at angles on top of the first mount.
The Cupcake image was then placed in the center with the sentiment placed across the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used a rolled daisy die from Die-namics to create the three flowers in the top left hand corner, these were made with some of the left over papers and the leaves were punched with a rose leaf punch from some of the pink paper.
Now youve seen my card I do hope you will go and visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and I do hope you will feel able to take part in this weeks "Birthdays" Challenge.

We were lucky enough to be given a few of the images to play with and I chose this one for my card.

This little lad is writing up his list for Santa so its titled "Dear Santa" and I have printed it onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, then used my Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut him out then drew around the metal die to create the mount out of red card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of red card and the papers I have used are from Echo Parks "Very Merry" Christmas papers, the first one a red background with white snowflakes on the second is a grid pattern and the third a newspaper item, I layered them on the base mount at angles.

A Card for several Challenges

Good Afternoon All, I do apologise for my lack of posts, I dont seem to have the urgency to create cards just for fun at the moment most of my efforts seem to be just my DT cards, anyway I thought I would show you this card I created for this weeks Sundays with Santa Challenge over on Facebook, this weeks challenge is "Vintage" and I felt you might like to see the results. Ive used one of the Don and Daisy images from Marianne and coloured it with my copic pens, I then cut it out with Nestabilitie Label Die No.8 then drew around the die to create the mount.
The base mount is a 6"x 6" piece of red card with three papers from Maji's "Its Christmas Time" and the first one is a all over paisley pattern in shades of brown, beige and red, the second is a snowflake paper and Ive used my Martha Steward border and corner snowflake punches to create a square doily, on top is another of the same paper set but this one is a piece of newspaper type design and has been laid down the card.
I then positioned my mounted image in the center and the sentiment below on the right hand side, to finish of I have used a large Snowflake punch from Martha Stewart and punched out several sizes and dipped them into glass glitter, this was layered up and positioned it in the top right hand corner.
If you havent put your name to the blog candy above please do if your a regularly visit my blog.

Good Morning Crafters, well my first Team Leader blog post for Bearlymine Designs went reasonably well though I did forget a couple of things so Im hoping that this weeks Challenge post will be better, keep your fingers crossed I do a better job of it.
Anyway back to this weeks Challenge its all about a "Pink Christmas" a bit unconventional but I think the colour pink does make beautiful cards and I hope  you will think so when you see my card. Now you will want to know who is sponsoring us this week and that is Whimsey Stamps.

and they are offering a fabulous prize of 5 digi images of winners choice.

And here is my card for this weeks Challenge.

The image I decided to use is from Funky Kits and I have stamped her onto white card and then used my copic pens afterwards I used Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut her out, and the mount I have used is one of the Spellbinders Marvellous Square die, the sentiment was cut with one of the new Britannia Sentiment dies from Robert Adams.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, and the papers I choose to use are from Donna of Bearlymine Designs "Pastel Christmas" paper set and you will find it here, I have used two papers the first is a pretty pink background with flower sprays on, the second has been cut with Cheery Lynn doily die, and placed in the middle of the first mount, then around the middle I have wrapped a strip of pink satin ribbon and attached it to the back of the first mount.
I then placed my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment across the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used three poinsetta flowers and with two holly berry's at either end I have stuck them to the card with silicone glue on top of punched out holly leaves in the top left hand corner. The final flourish are the four pink gems in the top and opposite corners.

Good Morning Crafters, and happy Bonfire day to all those who are planning one today or later this week I hope the weather is kind to you, though the last weekend here has been extremely wet so no doubt the bonfire will have suffered. And the image I have used is a Saturated Canary one its called "Give Big Boy" and you will find it here, Ive printed him onto white card then used my favourite copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used Nestabilitie die No.8 to cut him out then used the metal die to draw around to create the mount for it. The sentiment is one from my stash and has been treated in the same way as the image.
